Xiong Xiong
We have had four chows in the past and loved each and every one of them. Two years ago we moved into a new home where we could once again have a Chow Chow. We did a lot of research before we finally chose Bearcrest Chows as our breeder. We spoke with Wendy numerous times and told her exactly what we were looking for, a red or shaded-red male of show quality. Wendy allowed us to pick from two litters that were available. We knew right away from the many pictures and videos that she sent us that Xiong Xiong was the dog for us and we were not disappointed.
Because Wendy and Pete raise the pups in their own home and ensure that they are well socialized, he came to us almost fully trained and a social butterfly. He loves meeting people and on walks he stops, sits and waits as he wants people to say how cute he is and to get petted. On Halloween he met everyone that came to the door and was great with the small children. The scary costumes and fireworks never bothered him. He went back to the door the following night looking for everyone to come visit him.
Wendy and Pete went out of their way by driving 8 hours to Winnipeg to put Xiong on a flight to Abbotsford. When he arrived he was clean and dry and so was his crate. Wendy sent us a complete information package regarding food, vaccinations, grooming, exercise and wellness specific to the breed, along with his veterinarian's certificate of health and vaccination records. We have also received his CKC registration.
We have no doubt that Xiong is of championship quality that comes from probably the best breeding stock and breeder in Canada. We highly recommend Bearcrest Chows.
